Students that enlists in TU-Varna’s four year Electronics Engineering Bachlor course can gain knowledge and expertise in the general field of electronics including:

      Analog and digital circuit design
      Embedded systems
      Power electronics;
      CAD systems in electronics,

In addition there are specialization courses availeble in:

      Biomedical electronics
      Industrial electronics
      Electronics in renewable energy systems
      Microelectronics
Electronics
Electronics

During their studies through balanced program of lectures, seminar and laboratory exercises students obtain both practical and theoretical experience that encompasses not only the hardware aspects of electronics but also the software ones where:

      Various programing languages are studied, such as: C++ for embedded controllers; C# for application development; and VHDL for programmable digital circuits
      Various professional software products such as: MATBLAB and Cadance are introduced

After successfully graduating their bachelor course students can apply for one of the three available master programs, where they can narrow and further refine their expertise in either: Biomedical Electronics; Industrial electronics; or Renewable energy systems.

Both the bachelor and master courses finish with a practical demonstrations of the student’s skills in the form of a diploma thesis, where a real practical electronic device is designed, constructed and tested. English language classes for the Electronics Engineering Bachelor and Master course have been thought since 2008 with more than 200 successfully graduated students.

The leading department of the course – The Department of Electronics and Microelectronics has outstanding relationship bi-lateral agreements with many EU countries which allows students to attend short and long term exchanges.
